About the Author
Tanesha Denmark-Hopson is a wife, mother, child advocate and friend to many. Children inspire her to want to be a better person. She is passionate about children finding and using their voice. Growing up she didn't always feel loved or like she belonged. She was picked on a lot. She had to find her beauty and worth and not be co-dependent on others thoughts and ideas of who she was becoming. Her first picture book is entitled "Maurice's Big Day". "Why Me" is her second book in the Children Chat Books Series. Both books were inspired by her own life and the little lives around her. Her love for children drives her to continue to assist them in having their own voice and to bring awareness to those around them. She was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She likes to think of these short stories as life's little lessons, or life's choices-a guide for a child to use their own voice and the right to be heard.
