This book presents a collection of hadiths (traditions) of the holy Prophet and Imams (pbut). It covers a wide spectrum of subjects such as theology, morality, jurisprudence and mysticism. With its stimulating collection of traditions from the main figures of Islam, great traditions in Islamic Ethics takes the reader beyond the morality of Islam to the profound nature of Islamic Mystical inquiry. This excellent resource helps scholars, students and interests in Islamic tradition develop their knowledge and understanding needed to examine and scrutinize traditions in Islamic literature. This book (hopefully one of the consecutive volumes) has been arranged as the main source for Shi ah tradition in certain fields such as morality, mysticism, law (shari ah) and theology.
