Later, Hope makes a shocking discovery while she is jogging, which leads to a fifty-year-old famous crime being solved. This revelation propels Hope into the national spotlight, which proves to be scary and invasive but, ultimately, beneficial to her future.
Also this fall, Hope makes a decision about her faith which threatens to drive a wedge in her growing relationship with Conner.
