For this annual event, Clark Street is transformed as literary events take over neighborhood bars, restaurants, and businesses! Our line-up this year will include:
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Poems While You Wait - Typewritten poetry on demand crafted by local Chicago poets. $5 per poem.
6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. - Story Time with Drag Queens - The Queens return to Women & Children First to read classic bedtime stories to kids of all ages! After Story time, there will be time for photos with the queens.
7:30 to 8:30 p.m. - The Best Books of 2018 . . . So Far, curated by Adam Morgan, founder of the Chicago Review of Books, and featuring local literati: Jose Olivarez, Abby Geni, Julia Fine, Greta Johnsen, Julian Randall, and Kathleen Rooney!
