Last year, our first annual Lit Crawl Chicago, organized by Lindsay Muscato and The Neo Futurists' Jessica Anne, was a phenomenal success, bringing one night of live lit programming to shops, bars, and restaurants up and down Clark Street. This year, we are a co-host, curator, and co-sponsor! Here's the line-up:
- 7 to 8 p.m. Sappho’s Salon: You'll get a bit of a Sappho's sampler at Lit Crawl, with veteran performers including Elliot Besmann, Rachel Simon, Ada Cheng, and more. As always, your delightful hosts are Eileen Tull and Liz Baudler.
- 8:15 to 9:15 p.m. We'll be partnering with Chicago Review of Books for an author panel moderated by Adam Morgan entitled "The Best Books of 2017 (so far)"! The authors recommending their favorite books of the year include: Rebecca Makkai, Juan Martinez, Megan Stielstra, Lindsay Hunter, and Jessica Chiarella
- 9:30 to 10:15 p.m. Back by popular demand, Muffy Fishbasket's Story time with Drag Queens!
