Recently, there’s been a notable cultural shift; as exemplified by recent movies, television, online ventures and art, from Kill Bill to Roller Derby. In Push Comes to Shove, School of the Art Institute of Chicago Professor Maud Lavin examines these new images of aggressive women and how they affect women’s lives.
