Story Club presents "The Distance" A Storytelling Fundraiser benefiting the Women's Voices Fund

Join Story Club for a virtual storytelling show benefiting the Women's Voices Fund, the non-profit arm of Women & Children First!

This storytelling show will be hosted by Story Club founder and author of The Storytelling Code Dana Norris! This ticketed event will be held on Zoom!

This event will feature several of Chicago's most beloved storytellers including: Stephanie Douglass, Elizabeth Gomez, Jeremy Owens, Tien Tran, and Jake Noll

The Women’s Voices Fund (WVF) was established in November, 2005 to help support programming at Chicago's only feminist bookstore, Women & Children First. Due to the global pandemic, Women & Children First's in-person events have all been cancelled or moved to virtual platforms. If you've ever attended a Women & Children First event, you know that a bookseller typically kicks off the event by "passing the hat" and collecting donations for the WVF. With the loss of these critical donations, the bookstore's mission to amplify underrepresented voices within Chicago's literary community and the larger publishing industry is at stake. Join us for an evening of spectacular stories while supporting an indispensible part of the bookstore you love!
